Remembering Amanda

It’s been a long and difficult year without you Amanda. Things are just not the same at Compassion For Greek Paws without your presence. It was always bittersweet for you to let your beloved paws go to their new homes. Now it’s bittersweet for us to continue with the shelter in your memory. The things that made you special we will always hold dear. We were blessed with the best. You are missed by your family, friends and the paws that you adored. Your life touched so many other peoples lives in ways that you couldn’t even imagine. Your beauty shone through everything you did. Your example of love is the legacy you leave with us. You have planted compassion in our hearts. You have awakened us to care for those in need, to share our skills, time, resources and experience to make a difference to those less fortunate than ourselves. You my precious friend are the magnet that brought together a community of people who all support the work that you started. Our love for you remains strong and our desire to honour your memory continues to motivate us to carry on.  Our wish is that you were still with us here, our hope is being assured that we will see you again in Heaven. Our comfort is knowing that you are with the paws who have passed over the rainbow bridge continuing to love each and every one with your whole heart. We love you Amanda and choose to turn your day of passing into a day of remembrance, a celebration of who you are and all that you have meant to each one of us. We will never say goodbye for there is but a breath between us. You live in our hearts and in our memories and one day we will see you again. Until then my friend we will take care of the paws in your name. xxxxx

New Fundraising Group!

We have created a new fundraising group for the shelter on Facebook. This is a place where our fundraising activities will be posted such as raffles, auctions, notifications of market stalls, notifications of our annual calendar and our annual Christmas dinner event. We hope that you will actively participate and appreciate all the support and financial assistance we receive.

Please share our new group with those who may be interested and please also share our posts. We are a community of people working together as Team Compassion to ensure the shelter founded by Amanda Maguire Deligianni continues to rescue the strays in the area and look after those already in our care. Thank you 💙🇬🇷🐾
