Our Beloved Amanda - We Love You

 Amanda Jane Maguire Deligianni - 7 April 1968 to 18 November 2020

Amanda, you have such a loving, compassionate heart, always caring for the abandoned, vulnerable, hurting and lonely dogs and puppies. You have made a difference, changing culture in your sphere of influence. You have worked so tirelessly, giving your all to so many beautiful dogs, always looking out for them and ensuring they receive the best without counting the cost. You are so passionate in your vocation and all of your efforts have been appreciated by those you rescue and those who are fortunate enough to come into contact with your amazing loving dogs. You have brought much happiness and joy to so many people receving their new family members, forever touching their hearts. You are such a special lady, who always gives her all for that which you believe so passionately in. You have done an amazing work in difficult circumstances and we honour you for showing such devotion, dedication, love and care to so many gorgeous dogs that you always saw the value in. You see what others cannot see and more than that, you always did something about it. Thank you for stepping up, for speaking out and for making Compassion For Greek Paws a reality. We are blessed to have known you and privileged to love you and hold you in our hearts for all of eternity. You will always be the compassion at Compassion For Greek Paws, you have given us such a tangible expression of love, an example to follow and a path to walk upon. Eternity & Time Intertwined

 

Eternity is now your home and until I meet you there

We will live in two realms for a season you and I

We will never have another today

but we will have all of our tomorrow’s

 

Time will bring me closer to you

And I know you will welcome me home with open arms

Until our reunion I will think of you often

And smile remembering how beautiful you are 

 

I never knew how much I loved you

Until the day you departed

And then I knew you had left a mark on my heart

That forever bears your name

 

There are things I want to share and then I remember you aren’t there

When it all becomes too much, I take a deep breath and look up

I draw strength from my faith knowing we will meet face to face

Until then I will run my race, holding you in my heart in a special place
