The Tail Of 5 Greek Shepherds

As Amanda and Joanna were driving along they noticed a huddle of puppies in the middle of the road. Someone had dumped five White and black Greek Shepherds and left them to their fate. They were quickly gathered up and taken under the protection of the shelter. Four brothers and one sister needed to be named. Luz was chosen for the girl, it is pronounced Luth and is Spanish for light. She is confident and graceful. The boys have become known as Duke, Noel, Vasili and Patch. The siblings were found at the beginning of November 2018. They will be large dogs when fully grown. Greek Shepherds need space, are naturally guardian dogs and will protect their property and family. They are hard to train and can be stubborn. Professional training is advised from puppies. Greek Shepherds are very loyal, loving and wonderful company. Please only apply for adoption if you have a large garden, if you are prepared to seek professional training and are committed to caring for a LARGE dog for their lifetime. The adoption process is available to read here on the blog under the tab ‘Dog Adoption Process’ or on our Facebook page as a pinned post at the top of the page. We also have a tab here on the blog entitled: ‘Advice For Adopters/Fosterers’ giving useful information and tips on what to expect from a rescue dog. This information is also on our Facebook page. If you are interested in adopting Luz, Duke, Patch, Vasili or Noel please email: compassion4greekpaws@gmail.com or send a message via the Compassion For Greek Paws Facebook page (m.me/CompassionForGreekPaws). Thank you.
