Lots going on at the moment. We are in the middle of white washing the brick kennels, looks nice and clean plus kills any lurking bacteria.We have built a new large kennel for the pups, nearly finished, we just need to secure the roof & give it a lick of paint.The shade nets are going up plus our builder has put up 3 secure ones with wood we already had so we only payed for his time & netting. One in Spot & Megs pen, one in Beatrice's pen & one in Duke, Vasili, Patch, Brooke & Cleo's pen, as the sun moves through the day this also gives shade to Domino's pen.We have a new secure gate in the middle of the run as the old one fell apart. This means Joanna and Amanda can have two pens out for a run at the same time. The man who made and fitted it charged us 70 Euros.
Last but not least we are about to start the 'big clean' With many thanks to the ladies from Finland, Argos, charity for Greek animals we have started the flea, tick, fly & Mosquito treatments, we are clearing all the remaining straw from the winter bedding and the whole shelter will be sprayed. This spray we use twice a year, it keeps bugs, scorpions, flies and ticks at bay without harming the animals.
