Aristo has offered his help every Friday on his day off! This is GREAT, he is not afraid of work and is great with the dogs. I have been struggling as the shelter has grown, not enough hrs in the day so a permanent volunteer is a God send !!
After chatting with Aristo mainly about the fact that some of the shelter dogs seem worried by the work 'men' ,frightened of men, they don't see men often enough or had been shouted at by men while on the street. I needed a solution.
He said there was a very simple solution to that, he would help on his day off and work slowly with those who seem timid.☺️
This has been a great success, Henrietta who we worried about LOVES Aristo, waits for him at her gate, has a cuddle, has a run and play with him then goes in for him to feed her. Great result Aristo!!
So, I would like to thank Aristo publicly and welcome him to the team. Aristo is a market trader and works long hrs waking at 5am every day so volunteering his spare time to us is a blessing. Thank you hubby 💖
