We have 5 small pens, they were made purely for new comers, after surgery recuperation or separation pens if necessary however we are overcrowded so they are in use. The roof of this section of the shelter was dark and becomes very hot in the sun. We have been trying to find ways of keeping the pens cooler so we painted it white.
The sun was beating down yesterday and we are very happy to say the sun was reflected and the roof and pens stayed nice and cool !!
The builder working on the second leg of RAISING THE ROOF also gave us
two trees to plant that will help giving shade as they grow 🐾💖🐾
