The dreaded
HUNTING SEASON has only just started
and we already have an abandoned or lost hound. We have taken him to the
vets where his super sweet daughter helped to name him Jacob/Jake.
Jacob is approx 4 years old, he is a little thin
but not starving, he has superficial cuts and scratches that are healing, his
bloods are clear and his health check sums up a
healthy happy boy !!
Believed to be abandoned as the hunting season
starts. Maybe he didn't hunt, or hunted birds when the hunter wanted Rabbits,
maybe he was used to breed and no longer needed.. we just don't know.
Jacob is a lovely fella of 22 kilos, he was great
in the car, jumps in and out all by himself, he is fab on a lead and obedient,
he was very good at the clinic, loved the vets daughter & lay next to her
while she was colouring in a picture.
If Jacob is not claimed by his owner (NOT
MICROCHIPPED) he will be neutered and will be ready for adoption soon.
